Left Boy - Call Me Maybe

You know that song Call Me Maybe by that Zooey Deschanel lookalike Carly Rae Jepsen that suddenly got relevant in the mainstream? Of course you don’t, you good hipster you! But seriously, Left Boy remixed it and it’s dope, all bleep bloopy n shit. You can download it on his website for free, you cheap hobo you!

Hooray For Social Media!

So I decided to start a twitter account that is linked to this blog. I don’t really know how it works but whatever, it seems like a good idea. From now on posts will also be posted on our twitter account called TDsandCs (goddamn character limit). I’ll also occasionally post whatever I’m listening to, privately.

Not that often though, I’m not progressive enough to have internet on my phone.

Chromatics - Kill For Love [Drumless Version]

So remember the last time I posted this song? With the pretty music video and everything? Yeah well Chromatics decided to remove the drum track from some of their songs and it sounds immensely atmospheric and awesome. Even though I like my songs with a good thumping beat, this is really worth listening to.

By the way the drumless album is free for download, I downloaded it from Gorilla vs Bear but I’m sure it’s on their website or whatever.

Oh and I changed the theme because I only just realised that the endless scrolling thing that I put into the html code sucks ass and it really slows down the site and I don’t remember how to fix it so I just decided to go for a new theme.

I hope you like it.

Simon & Garfunkel - He Was My Brother (Take 1)

I kind of like this version better than the final version. It sounds a bit less cleaned up and produced and it just makes it seem more full of sincerity. Actually i’m not sure if that’s the right word but i’m going to go with it for now.

Also I’d just like to say how much I hate blogs that call themselves ‘hipster’ or ‘indie’ or ‘hippie’ or ‘grunge’  <— ESPECIALLY THESE ONES

Seriously, it looks desperate, tweeny and really, really poseurish.
